The webinars will take place on:
The first webinar will focus on the introduction to Legal Frameworks, understanding AI Systems and Bias, exploring By design and best practices for AI development and deployment and will highlight legal Challenges in AI Discrimination.
The second webinar will address transparency, access to information, remedies and enforcement (at Individual, collective and public enforcement level), discuss future developments and challenges and give an update on ongoing work of the AI Office in terms of guidance and Codes of Practice.
The third webinar will include a briefing from Equinet’s representatives at the CEN-CENELEC Joint Technical Committee 21 developing the future harmonized standards for the AI Act, examples and practical case studies, guidance on how to approach a case of discrimination. It will also dedicate time to facilitate mutual learning and foster partnership between Equality Bodies and civil society organisations and finish on a presentation of Explainers that complement the webinars.
The webinar series is hosted by Equinet and the AI Equality by Design, Deliberation and Oversight project (continued project externally-funded by the UK Research and Innovation Programme on Responsible AI).
